Realtors Collaborate With Harwich Garden Club ---- Diane DiGennaro, chair of the conservation committee of the Harwich Garden Club, and co-member Karen McLaughlin recently updated Harwich realtors about the club’s partnership with the Harwich DPW to compost food scraps. Since last July, 12 tons of food scraps from the transfer station have been composted by Black Earth Compost. The club will team with realtors to get the message out about Harwich’s conservation effort. Countertop collection containers, pictured here, are available at the transfer station.
