    After starting the season without enough players to field an offense or defense, the Lower Cape Bluefins Mites team stunned the Old Colony Youth Football League by capturing the Division 6 Super Bowl title with a 22-8 upset of top-seeded West Bridgewater. 

The team was coached by Billy Pina and assisted by Josh Adams, Duane Vermaak and Zach Richard.
