Limited Tickets Remain For Cape League Hall Of Fame Festivities

The online ticketing window is closed, but limited tickets still remain for the Cape Cod Baseball League’s Hall of Fame banquet and ceremony, which is set for Sunday at the Wequassett Resort and Golf Club in Harwich.

The festivities begin with a brunch at 10 a.m. before the induction ceremony begins at noon. This year’s inductees include former Orleans Firebirds pitcher Mitchell Jordan, former Chatham Anglers slugger Glenn Davis, and Harwich Mariners President Mary Henderson, who has also served as a league executive during her 40 years associated with the Cape League.

Former Wareham Gateman star Lance Berkman, former Bourne Braves catcher Max Pentecost, and league executive Jim Higgins are also among this year’s inductees.

Tickets cost $90. Anyone interested in purchasing a ticket should email Mary Henderson at mehendy@comcast.net. If tickets remain, purchasers will be instructed to mail a check to the Cape Cod Baseball Hall of Fame, PO Box 201, Harwich Port, MA 02646. Ticket requests should include the name(s) of the attendees.
