Fools Rush In For Erin Coughlin

WEST CHATHAM – A group of April Fools enjoyed the sun, surf and 37-degree wind chills on Harding’s Beach Sunday, taking their annual dip for a good cause.

Led by Chatham firefighters, this year’s event raised money for Erin (Kinski) Coughlin, a mother of two who works as an educational assistant and the girls’ basketball coach for the Nauset Schools. On March 15, she underwent surgery for melanoma, and five days later received a diagnosis of multiple sclerosis.
