A Race To The Frivolous

The Carnival Caper Costume Road Race is always a First Night highlight, and this year’s event was no different. Dozens of runners, most in crazy costumes, lined up for the Chatham Squire-sponsored dash. Along with timely commentary — one group dressed as a manhole, sewer pipes and warning cones — runners’ costumes touched on culture (was it “Wicked” or “The Wizard of Oz?”), superheroes, sharks and dinosaurs.
