Not to stereotype, but everyone knows the English are known for their gardens and a green thumb, right? An English country garden is a sight to behold. Charlie Hoad is originally from England, so perhaps his heritage fed his love for gardening. Then his parents purchased a bed and breakfast in East Orleans and his love for gardening took off. “I fell in love with the Cape and the fabulous gardens here. Soon after we settled in here, I worked at Bedworks in North Chatham and enjoyed gardening there so much,” he said. He said he discovered he had a knack for not only taking care of the gardens but properties, too.

That skill led to a move to Boston where he did property management for condo associations and commercial properties. But his love for the Cape drew him back. He worked with a local vacation rental company before he eventually decided to go out on his own, combining his landscape skills and property management.

Services include concierge tasks (airport pick-ups, pre-arrival house prep, etc.), property management (contractor oversight, seasonal maintenance, yard clean ups, home checks, etc.) and of course landscaping and gardening (mowing, pruning, mulching, etc.) plus landscape design and so much more. “We sit down with you to figure out what you need and we take it from there.”
