Mildred Winston

Mildred “Millie” Winston passed away peacefully March 25,2024 with her family surrounding her at the age of 97. Born February 3, 1927 in Everett, MA to the late Charles and Nancy Anastasia she went on to lead nearly a century of life that bettered our community.

She is predeceased by her husband Robert Winston, daughters Anita Brown and Lori McGillvray, along with her brother Samuel Anastasia.

Millie leaves behind sons James Farraher, Charles Farraher and daughters Suzanne Routhier, Roberta Winston and Andrea O’Neil and sister- in- law Maryellen Anastasia, along with many grandchildren, great grandchildren and two great - great grandchildren. They were her world.

Millie dedicated her life to her family and with great pride and strength had a hand in raising multiple generations. She cherished every moment of her time with each and every one of them.

Anyone lucky to know her was in awe of her talent as a painter and teacher. In spite of her busy schedule, she prioritized volunteering to help others however she could.

Millie leaves behind a legacy of kindness, generosity, talent and a get ’er done mentality. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
