Gary Lee Seasholtz (July 7, 1939 – January 22, 2024) was born in Pottstown, PA to the late Roy Seasholtz and Estella McElroy Seasholtz. He was predeceased by his older brother Ronald. Gary was lovingly raised by his Aunt Ethel and Uncle Thomas Rosen, following his mother’s early passing. He received his undergraduate degree from West Point and his Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma. He served his country in two branches, (Army and Air Force) and was recognized with numerous distinctions including a Bronze Star.

Gary enjoyed racing and restoring vintage cars, world travel and cheering his grandchildren on in their numerous sporting activities from the sidelines. However, he was most at home by the sea, where he enjoyed long walks on the beach, clamming, sailing his boat, the Golden Fleece, and volunteering with the Cape Cod Sail and Power Squadron.

He had a contagious smile and a great sense of humor that will be dearly missed by those who were lucky enough to have known him, but especially by his wife Sharyn of 62 years, daughter Rebekah LaCava (Anthony), son Eric (Ashley) and six grandchildren: Zachary, Michael, Paige, Isabella, Dalton, and Aiden who lovingly knew him as Pop-pop.

Notes of comfort, in Gary’s name, can be made at www.ChapmanFuneral.com

A celebration of Gary’s life will be held this summer.
