Halloween Stroll Brings Out Trick Or Treaters, Young And Old

by Ryan Bray

ORLEANS – Bears, tigers, superheroes, witches.
The vibe along Main Street last Saturday took a decidedly festive turn as part of this year’s Halloween Stroll. Hosted by the Orleans Elementary School parent teacher committee, the annual event invites families and residents to dress up and trick-or-treat at participating businesses, where candy was given out to every ghost, goblin and princess in sight.
Police closed off Main Street between Brewster Cross Road and Route 6A for the afternoon event, while trick or treaters and businesses also gathered on the opposite end of Main Street near Old Colony Road.
