Clavicular, ‘Looksmaxxing’ Livestreamer, Charged With Rape In Chatham

ORLEANS – Clavicular, the internet livestreamer who first rose to prominence for popularizing “looksmaxxing,” has been formally accused of rape and providing alcohol to a minor, according to charges filed this month in Orleans District Court.

According to a criminal complaint issued Sept. 8, Clavicular — real name Braden Peters — was charged with rape, drugging a person for sexual intercourse, and procuring liquor for a person under 21. 

The offenses are dated to May 23, 2025 in Chatham. 

Though the reporting party’s name is redacted in the police report, the date and details of the allegations coincide with a lawsuit filed in Florida’s Miami-Dade County in April which accused Peters, 20, of excessively serving alcohol to a minor and having non-consensual sex with her on Cape Cod.

According to the police report, the girl — then 17 — and Peters began texting through Instagram, which evolved into her doing paid “Looksmaxing” videos.  

About a week later, Peters ordered an Uber for her to his family’s house on Morris Island in Chatham. Upon arrival, the girl greeted Peters’ mother and grandmother, then was led upstairs to his bedroom, where he was livestreaming online.

Peters is alleged to have known the girl’s age and instructed her to lie on the stream that she was 18 years old. The girl allegedly was additionally instructed by Peters to say the alcohol was water, so his online livestream and account would not be banned. Peters offered her vodka, according to the report.

Though both consumed the alcohol, the girl “felt that she was peer-pressured to consume it,” the report said.

The girl also told police she likely had two or three shots but likened it more to “cups,” the report said.

After the two began consuming alcohol, they kissed once on the livestream. Peters offered alcohol a second time, which the girl “declined because ‘it was too much already,’” according to the police report.

After the livestream ended, Peters and the girl “began to make out on the couch.”

“She stated that she was ‘really drunk’ at this point in time,” the police report said.

The two then allegedly had sex; the girl fell asleep and woke up the next morning to Peters having sex with her, the report said. 

The girl told Chatham police she never verbally consented the night prior after consuming alcohol nor that morning, according to the report.

After Peters allegedly finished having sex with the girl, he ordered her an Uber home. She did not see Peters for the next six months, according to the report.

According to the civil lawsuit filed in Florida earlier this year, which details the same May 2025 incident in Chatham, Peters and the girl next met that November in Miami. The civil lawsuit was amended in June to add a count of sexual battery.

Peters invited the girl to a livestream in which he injected a fat-melting solution into her cheek, which became perforated, that lawsuit alleged.

“She files a lawsuit and doesn’t include sexual assault as a count,” said Peters’ representative Mitchell Jackson in a statement. “Then she amends it and adds it a couple of months later. Clavicular then filed a motion to dismiss fighting the civil lawsuit because letter/text messages show she knew what was happening with the injections and he refused to pay money. She and her lawyer then go to police.”

On X, Peters posted videos and images of the girl. 

“Trying to get my attention in anyway [sic] possible, a lawsuit?” he said in one post Monday. “Seriously… really petty of you.”

“Happens to all successful young men, people try to come for your money,” Peters said in another post. “Greed is evil.”

According to a Chatham police report, two attempts by police to contact Peters by phone in August were unsuccessful. Peters is scheduled to be arraigned in Orleans District Court on Oct. 14.
