Ice Cream Social Celebrates Back-to-school At Monomoy

HARWICH – Students, families, teachers and staff came together last Thursday afternoon at Monomoy Regional High School for a district-wide event celebrating the return to school. Attendees enjoyed treats, fun and connecting with friends and associates before the start of the school year.

 The event took place at the close of the school district’s teachers’ conference at the high school Aug. 27. Students in the junior and senior classes volunteered to hand out ice cream to the large crowd in attendance. 

 Students at the district’s elementary and high schools returned to classes Tuesday. The middle school opens today (Thursday, Sept. 3) due to construction delays.
