If It’s Wednesday, It Must Be Port Summer Night

 HARWICH PORT – The sidewalks were crowded on Aug. 5 thanks to the growing popularity of the weekly Port Summer Nights music strolls.

The Harwich Chamber of Commerce puts on the music stroll every Wednesday evening through the end of August. At least four bands gather on the sidewalk, parking lots and lawns from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., and the events draw a river of people flowing through the village. 

The free music strolls give exposure to local restaurants, shops and other establishments in the village. Dancing shoes are highly recommended.
