Jeannette Louth

Jeannette Louth, a resident of West Harwich, died at home on July 15, 2026 at the age of 101 years. She was cared for by her niece, Jennie Atkins, for her last 7 years. Jeannette was the wife of William Louth who died in 2006. She taught Spanish for 35 years at Staples High School, Westport, CT and was always active in her church.
   Preceded in death by her sister Emily, and two brothers, Donald and Harold, and her cousin, Calvin Eldridge of Harwich, MA. She is survived by her sister-in-law and lifetime best friend Margaret (Peg) Atkins of Middleborough, MA, her step-son Bradley Louth and his wife Nancy of Hampton, NH, her step-son Thomas Louth and his wife Jessie of Naugatuck, CT, several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews, grands- and greats-.
There will be a memorial service honoring her life to be held at Brewster Baptist Church (1848 Main Street, Brewster, MA 02631) on Saturday, September 12th at 11:30 AM.
