Brewster Dedicates New Playground At Stony Brook School

Eager students stood by Tuesday morning as a new playground was dedicated at Brewster’s Stony Brook Elementary School. Students Casen McGrath and Joey Brady help cut the ribbon with a little help from David Rost from the Nauset Youth Alliance, school committee Chair Katie Jacobus and Principal Carolan Kasper. Contributions by the Nauset Youth Alliance, Brewster Whitecaps, the town’s community preservation committee and Brewster voters made the new playground possible. CAMPBELL MULLIGAN PHOTOS

Students were excited to experience the new playground, but waited patiently during the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The new playground is protected by a net to prevent injury from baseballs hit during Whitecaps games.
