Nauset, Monomoy Finish Unified Outdoor Track Seasons

NORTH EASTHAM – The unified outdoor track teams for Nauset and Monomoy met up May 19 for both groups’ final meet of the season.

Unified track brings athletes with and without intellectual disabilities to compete in various outdoor events. At Nauset’s track facility last week, participants cycled through the long jump, javelin, shot put, 100-meter dash and 400-meter relay.

Competing for Monomoy were Kai Goley, Hailey Viera, Henry Lowney, Claire Kennard, Michael Dubis, Grace Jodice, Jessie Horsfall, Claire Cooney, Chase Connors and Janeese Gomes-Yochum.

Competing for Nauset were Brennan Armstrong, Jakob Baerga, Elijah Bruinooge, Raya Campeau, Addyson Greemore, Corbany Greemore, Gabriel Hammond, Ava Herold, Stella Hurvitz, Laura Kaser, Molly Murphy, Stephen Pechonis, Leah Polanco, Bridgette Tesson and Dejahnae Cottrel.
