A GREAT WARRIOR
Christian Allen Capulli, 60, of Chatham passed away at home, in the early morning hours of March 23, 2026 with his wife Gayle by his side after a valiant struggle with health issues.
Chris was born on January 15, 1966 in Washington, District of Columbia to Lawrence and Patricia McDonough Capulli. He grew up in McLean, Virginia and Boulder, Colorado. He moved to Cape Cod in 1985 where he worked for Town Taxi for 20 years before establishing his own taxi company, Capewide Taxi, the very first taxi cab operation in Chatham. He later worked for UPS for 15 years, became a member of the Teamsters Union and also enjoyed being an Uber driver.
He was a lifelong sports fan, particularly the Boston Red Sox and Boston Celtics. He had a deep love for animals, especially his own bevy of cats and loved celebrating taking a chance on a winning lottery ticket.
Chris has survived by his loving wife, Gayle and her children Richie Muto, his wife Mara and Celia Ladd and her husband Andrew, his sister Jeanne Lyons, her husband Jack and son Nate Lyons all of Yarmouth, his sister Gail Muller, nephews Andrew and Dan Molnar all of Garsonville, Maryland, and nephew, Mott Arnold of Sandwich. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Joyce and her husband, Francis Reynolds and their children Emily and Patrick and his sister-in-law Karen Konopka.
He was predeceased by his parents, a sister Susan Arnold, a brother Lawrence Capulli, Jr. and in-laws, Bruce and Joan Konopka.
Services for Chris will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Meeting House in Chatham on Saturday, April 4 at 11 AM. A celebration of Chris’s life will follow at the VFW Hall on George Ryder Road in West Chatham.  Burial will be private at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made in Chris’s memory to the St. Vincent de Paul Society c/o Holy Redeemer Church, Highland Ave., Chatham or the Animal Rescue League in Brewster.
All will miss Chris’s gentle spirit, his warm smile and loving kindness.
