Brandon and Ashley Mahler are the dream team husband-and-wife duo that make up the crew at Mahler Masonry. Based out of Yarmouth, Mahler Masonry services the entire Lower Cape and prides themselves on high quality craftsmanship on every project they complete. Mahler Masonry offers a comprehensive range of landscape masonry services, including natural stone or paver retaining walls, patios, walkways, fire pits, steps, driveways, cobblestone edging, aprons and more. They have the tools and expertise to get the job done right.
Brandon Mahler had more than 10 years of experience in the hardscaping and landscape-masonry industry before going into business for himself about three years ago.
“The interesting thing about me is that I kind of want to keep it small,” Mahler said. “It’s me and my wife and she does all of the hard work! She manages the office and comes and helps me occasionally. You’re not going to get some random crew or like with a bigger company, you never know what you’re going to get.”
Mahler says his process is very efficient and simple. Once a potential client reaches out to him for a quote, he sets up a time to discuss the job and assess the site. He tries to get to the location in a timely manner and will come equipped with design books to help clients visualize what the outcome would be. Mahler Masonry takes a collaborative approach to every project, working closely with clients to understand their unique needs and preferences. Mahler Masonry will guide you through the entire process, from planning to installation, to ensure that the end result exceeds your expectations.
Whether it’s designing a new walkway or installing a firepit and patio, Mahler Masonry also likes to take clients out to physically review and select materials for their project.
“Sometimes I will draw a picture to help clients visualize the work or show them pictures of existing work I have done,” Mahler said. “It is definitely a visual process. Oftentimes I will meet customers right at the stone yard  and walk them through the yard, letting them see and touch the different materials in person. Once we figure that out, whether they want a natural stone or concrete or whatever direction they want to go in, we build off of that.”
Mahler says that no job is too big or small. From paver walkways to retaining walls with landscape lighting to cobblestone aprons and edging, Mahler Masonry offers precision and creativity from start to finish on their projects.
“I’ve worked on small jobs and some pretty big ones,” Mahler said. “Every one of them is unique in their own way. I like to take a collaborative approach with the customer to try to make something very unique and make sure they get exactly what they want.”
Be sure to check out the Mahler Masonry website and give them a call for your next home project. They offer free quotes and can answer any questions you have on your next special project. The idea of a cozy outdoor firepit patio sounds amazing right now as we head into summer!
