HARWICH – The Monomoy Regional School District has its new superintendent.
The Monomoy regional school committee voted 5-1-1 Monday to name Dr. Robin Millen its next superintendent of schools, pending contract negotiations.
Millen, the district’s assistant superintendent of curriculum, instruction and assessment, was chosen over two other finalists, Wrentham Assistant Superintendent Dr. Vanessa Beauchaine and Dr. David Thompson, the interim superintendent in Wilmington.
Earlier this month, each candidate took time visiting the district and meeting staff and residents. An analysis of anonymous public feedback submitted on the three candidates found Millen to be the “strongest and most consistently supported candidate.”
“She is widely viewed as student-centered, equity-minded and well positioned to provide stability, continuity and purposeful leadership at a critical point for the district,” the analysis read.
This is a developing story.
