On Nov. 5, No. 22 Monomoy boys soccer traveled to Great Barrington, where they fell 5-0 to No. 11 Monument Mountain in the round of 32 of the Div. 4 state tournament. The Sharks held Monument Mountain scoreless in the first 40 minutes despite pressure during much of the first half. The Spartans found the back of the net early in the second half and continued to add from that point.

“The team exceeded all expectations and had a very successful season for a young squad,” Monomoy head coach Keith Clark said.
