CHATHAM – The Chatham in the Fall 10K run returns this autumn and is again raising money for the Cape Cod Foster Closet, Sharing Kindness and Cape Cod Athletic Club scholarships.
The race is Sunday, Nov. 23 at 9 a.m., starting and finishing at Monomoy Regional Middle School. Participants can run the 10-kilometer course individually or as part of a team relay. More than 200 people ran in last year’s event.
The Cape Cod Foster Closet provides material goods for children in foster and relative caregiver families, and Sharing Kindness is a Cape Cod-based suicide awareness, prevention and support organization.
Registration for the individual 10K plus a T-shirt is $50 ($40 for those 18 years old and under). Runners who don’t want a shirt can register for $40 ($30 for those 18 and under). The team relay run and a T-shirt is $80 (or $60 for no T-shirt).
Runners will get finisher medals, and awards will be announced in the school gym after the race. Registration ends Nov. 2 to get a T-shirt and Nov. 23 otherwise. Sign up at runsignup.com/Race/MA/Chatham/ChathamintheFall10kRun.
