Justin Seth Petrosky of Eastham, MA died peacefully on Friday, October 3, 2025. He is survived by his mother, Susan Petrosky, sister, Sasha Petrosky, niece and nephews, and his beloved dog Shadow. He is predeceased by his father, John Petrosky.
Justin died of complications due to pneumonia and cardiac arrest. He carried the burden of addiction for decades and that is what ultimately took his life. When Justin was clean and the true version of himself he was an intelligent, talented, creative and caring individual. He enjoyed fishing, playing baseball, working alongside his dad as a concrete mason and spending time with his dogs Marley and Shadow and his friends.
Growing up Justin was an incredible big brother and best friend. He wasn’t embarrassed to drive me to school. let me hang out with him and his friends on the weekends and was always looking out for me. This is the Justin that I mourn and will remember. May his life be a reminder that substance abuse can dramatically change the trajectory of your life. The choices we make determine our fate. Justin be free, find dad and watch over us together. May you rest in peace knowing you are loved.
Private services will be held.
