Learning About Sharks
---- Dr. Gregory Skomal, senior researcher of the Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries, addressed the membership of the Chatham Men’s Club recently. He provided a comprehensive update of his experiences studying and interacting with the great white shark off our coastline along with some interesting biographical information. Successful Change Of Seasons Concert
----The sixth annual Change of Seasons Concert held on Nov. 22 in the Our Lady of the Cape Church in Brewster raised over $6,000 for food pantries on Cape Cod. Pet Food Drive A Success
--- The first annual pet food drive sponsored by the Chatham Recreation and Beach Division to benefit the town’s animal control department was a resounding success. Many people donated pet food to make a positive impact for local pets in need.
Pickleball Fundraisier A Smashing Success
----The Friends of Chatham Pickleball held its first fundraiser in November and raised $1,500 for the Homeless Prevention Council Of Cape Cod. Aimee Howard and the Chatham Recreation Department provided assistance in launching this program. Pictured here are the 100-plus attendees at the new Stepping Stones Road pickleball courts.
