CBC’s Open House
--- The Chatham Boat Company is hosting a “Fall Open House” this weekend, Friday and Saturday, Oct. 4 and 5, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Hog Island Brewery will be there 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday only, but the 90-minute Chatham Harbor seal tours are available both days per usual. COURTESY PHOTO

USCG Chief Speaks
--- Senior Chief Ross Comstock of Coast Guard Station Chatham gave a presentation on the past and present role of the station at the September meeting of the Women’s Club of Chatham. His talk included perspective on the history of the Coast Guard, the Chatham station, the evolution of rescue boats, and even the role of the station in the community. Trick Or Treat
----Pilgrim Congregational Church will host a Community Trunk or Treat on Sunday, Oct. 27 from 4-6 p.m., 533 Route 28, Harwich Port.
