Hannah St. Pierre

Hannah St. Pierre passed away at the age of 79 on July 27th after a loosing her battle with Cancer.

She was the beloved wife of Donald St Pierre for 57 years. She was the daughter of the late Patrick and Ellen Sheehan of Co. Cork Ireland. She came to the States in 1962 and worked in Albany New York , Connecticut and spent time in Toronto Canada. While working and vacationing in Chatham, she met the love of her life and they married in 1967.

She leaves her husband Don, daughter Claire and Son-in-law Rick Harrod of So.Yarmouth, her brother Michael, sister-in-law Mary Sheehan and their families in Ireland, her brother-in-law Norman St. Pierre and sister-in-law Lorraine McCullough and their families along with many cousins and great friends She was predeceased by her son Sean in 1996 and her brother Patrick in Ireland

She enjoyed her daily walks, knitting, most of all she and Don enjoyed many trips together to her native land enjoying her family. She will be remembered for her generosity and quick Irish wit. Her family would like to thank the Mugar Cancer Center for Hannah’s Care during her long illness. They would also like to recognize Hospice for helping the family keep her at home where she was able to pass peacefully.

To honor her memory a donation may be made to the Food Pantry. Per Hannah’s wishes, there will not be any services.
