Service Scheduled For Brad Liska

CHATHAM --- A memorial service will be held Saturday for local teen Brad Liska, who died Tuesday after a year-long battle with brain cancer.

The service will be held at 1 p.m. at Christopher's Episcopal Church on Main Street. Hundreds of people are expected to attend the family friendly service, and the church is setting up seating in its chapel and parish hall to accommodate everyone.

The church's annual Christmas Fair, original scheduled for Saturday, will be postponed until Dec. 15.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be given in Brad's name to the Matt Larson Foundation, which funds research into brain tumors and helps the families affected by pediatric brain tumors right.
